How are my services arranged?

A senior member of staff will make an appointment with you in your home to discuss your particular requirements. You may like a family member or friend to be present. This visit is free and carries no obligation. Once both parties have agreed on the service to be provided and the costs explained you will be given a contract which
details our terms and conditions and a home file containing more information about the way we work.

Will I always have the same carer?

One of our senior staff will usually visit you for the first few calls to get to know you better and will then introduce you to your assigned carers. We aim to match carers to clients as closely as possible and to maintain continuity whenever we can.

What if I don’t like my carer?

Very rarely there may be a clash of personalities. If there is a problem just let us know and we will make alternative arrangements for you.

Is there a written plan of care for each client?

We develop an individualized and completely confidential Plan of Care for each client.  The purpose is to document the type of care services needed and when the client would like to initiate care.  Once the client, and family members, and care team agrees on the Plan of Care, the office staff will use that information to recommend the caregiver who will be delivering the service, establish the schedule and agree to the monitoring and communication.

Will my carer be properly trained?

All our care assistants undergo regular training in all aspects of the service they provide. Carers are routinely monitored and supervised by senior staff. With your permission, the Manager or Deputy Manager may monitor the carer while they are working in your home. We will also arrange regular review visits with you to make sure you are happy with the service you receive.

How much will it cost?

All charges will be explained to you before the service starts. How do I pay?

You will be invoiced at the end of each month. Your invoice will detail all the visits carried out for that month. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.We welcome clients receiving Direct Payments from Wolverhampton Council and for those with managed accounts we can invoice the management company, if you prefer.
